Beautiful and very elegant large sculpture of Antiope (queen of the Amazons) throwing a javelin.
Signed in the base Fayral, as shown in the photo.
It is in excellent general condition, signed on the base, 100% original, dating back to around 1930.
Mounted on a very solid limestone base, the statue is in patinated metal, with a beautiful patina given by time.
Made by the prestigious “Max Le Verrier” foundry
The base has very small signs due to aging, as shown in the photos.
